Delray Dunes first opened in December of 1969.

In the first sales brochure for Delray Dunes Carlton Blunt said "The atmosphere within Delray Dunes is natural, reflecting the lovely environment surrounding it." Blunts vision was a small community, peaceful and pastoral, a family club. Delray Dunes has continued to maintain a character and charm that is a reflection of the standards of its residents. Delray Dunes is a financially healthy, privately owned Club & Community. It is situated on 337 acres with 323 home sites, consisting of 200 single family homes and 123 freestanding villas in 7 distinct styles. Most have vistas of either the golf course or lakes that meander throughout the community. Eleven of the original homeowners from 1969 continue to call Delray Dunes home. We are fortunate to have several multi-generational families living in and enjoying the community. Delray Dunes is a guard gated and roving patrol community.
